Standard Use Cases

Standard Rule : Standard Rule is which we can define rules without using any Logical Conditions (AND, OR) if we define more than one rule this will take Logical “AND” Condition automatically.

Advanced Rule : Advanced Rule is which we can define rules with using Logical Conditions (AND, OR).This Advanced Rule is Ultra flexible for creating more logical rules.

Posts by Role


You might be having a common use case of hiding some posts for a specific role in such case add rule using “User Role” criteria and use it in post rule.

How to create rule :

step 1: Enter Rule name.

step 2: Select Status.

step 3: Select Post type. (Select WP posts or Costume posts)

step 3: Select Posts. (Post which you want to apply rule.)

step 4: Select Action, in this case hide post action is selected. (Which action you should perform to selected posts.)

step 5: Enter Redirect URL. (This URL takes the user to what your entered in this box when user access your hide post, By default this will takes site home URL.)

step 6: Enter Rule Description.

step 7: Add Rule, In these case User role name equal to subscriber added. (Rule in which case you want to apply to the post.)

Hide Posts from Guest User

One more common use case of hiding some posts from Guest user(Not logged in User) and these posts should be available for logged in user, in such cases define a rule using “User Profile” criteria.

How to create rule :

step 1: Enter Rule name.

step 2: Select Status.

step 3: Select Post type. (Select WP posts or Costume posts)

step 4: Select Posts. (Post which you want to apply rule.)

step 5: Select Action, in this case hide post action is selected. (Which action you should perform to selected posts.)

step 6: Enter Redirect URL. (This URL takes the user to what your entered in this box when user access your hide post, By default this will takes site home URL.)

step 7: Enter Rule Description.

step 8: Add Rule, In these case Unregistered user(Not logged in) unregistered user added. (Rule in which case you want to apply to the post.)

Simple Ad Manager

Post rule defined with images will act like a simple Ad manager. Using Post rule we can use an Ad image, then add rule defined with Date/Post/Geographic location etc to show image Ad on respective Posts.

How to create rule :

step 1: Enter Rule name.

step 2: Select Status.

step 3: Select Post type. (Select WP posts or Costume posts)

step 4: Select Posts. (Post which you want to apply rule.)

step 5: Select Action, in this case Append image to post selected. (Which action you should perform to selected posts.)

step 6: Select location, in this case show as dialog box selected. (Show as dialog box means when we open the post popup will display on the post.)

step 7: Select image. (Which image you want to show on popup.)

step 8: Select image size. (which size of image you want show on popup.)

step 9: Enter Rule Description.

step 10: Add Rule, In these case country and date added. (Rule in which case you want to apply to the post.)

Posts by Date and Time

There might be situation where you might be interested in showing special posts like “New Year” or “Christmas” or “Year End Sales” discounts post and these post should be available for only few days or months, in such cases add rule using “Date and Time” criteria.
You can use Date, Time, Day of Week and Month sub criteria to further refine the rule.

How to create rule :

step 1: Enter Rule name.

step 2: Select Status.

step 3: Select Post type. (Select WP posts or Costume posts)

step 4: Select Posts. (Post which you want to apply rule.)

step 5: Select Action, in this case show post action is selected. (Which action you should perform to selected posts.)(show only selected posts.)

step 6: Enter Rule Description.

step 7: Add Rule, In these case between date and time added. (Rule in which case you want to apply to the post)

step 8: Add Rule, In these case Posts by Date and Time added. (Rule in which case you want to apply to the post.)

Posts by Geo Location (Continent, Country, City and Region)

If you want to hide or append information for request which are coming from a specific geographic location country or continent then add rule using “Geo Location” Criteria.

How to create rule :

step 1: Enter Rule name.

step 2: Select Status.

step 3: Select Post type. (Select WP posts or Costume posts)

step 4: Select Posts. (Post which you want to apply rule.)

step 4: Select Action, in this case Append content to post is selected. (Which action you should perform to selected posts.)

step 5: Select location, in this case Top of the post selected. (Content will add on top of the post.)

step 6: Enter Dynamic content. (Content which you want append to post.)

step 7: Enter Rule Description.

step 8: Add Rule, In these case Geo Location (Continent, Country, City and Region) added. (Rule in which case you want to apply to the post.)

Show Greetings or Important messages

If you want to show some greetings or important message such as new year wishes or festival wishes using the modal dialog. In such cases add rule with “Date and Time” Criteria in Post Rule select Action as “Append Image to Post / Append content to Post / Append content with image background”. Location can be selected a popup message or inline message. See demos for more information.

How to create rule :

step 1: Enter Rule name.

step 2: Select Status.

step 3: Select Post type. (Select WP posts or Costume posts)

step 4: Select Posts. (Post which you want to apply rule.)

step 5: Select Action, in this case Append content with image background to post selected. (Which action you should perform to selected posts.)

step 6: Select location, in this case show as dialog box selected. (Show as dialog box means when we open the post popup will display on the post.)

step 7: Enter content (Which content you want to show on popup.)

step 8: Select image. (Which image you want to show on popup.)

step 9: Select image size. (which size of image you want show on popup.)

step 10: Enter Rule Description.

step 11: Add Rule, In these case between date and time added. (Rule in which case you want to apply to the post.)
